St. Vincent Pallotti College is a co-educational college founded in 1995, with a college campus in Kapa, Raipur. This affiliated college spreads in a campus of 4 acres, is accredited with A Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council NAAC, and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE. The college offers 9 varied courses in different disciplines, with a total student enrolment of 1,127. The admission process at St. Vincent Pallotti College varies from course to course. Admission for B. Com, BBA, and M. Com. is done as per the rules of the University. Admissions to BCA are done on the basis of a merit while for a PGDCA one has to face a personal interview. For professional courses like B. Ed. admission is through an entrance test and marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as weightage to some criteria by state government/ University. Admission to B.P.Ed. programmes will be done through written tests, the validity of fitness tests, and interviews in the respective disciplines, apart from the marks achieved in the qualifying examination, and this diversity in admission policies would, in turn, help the college attract only those students that are best suited for the programme and maintain high academic standards in literally all disciplines.
