St. Wilfred's College of Law, Panvel, was established in the year 2012. It is an affiliated college within the Raigad district of the state of Maharashtra. The institution is distant from the Shedung Toll Plaza on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway by about 500 meters. The institution is now seeking to establish its hallmark in legal education with over a decade's experience of acquiring learning. The institute is spread across 25 acres of campus and is approved by the Bar Council of India. With the total student strength of 349 students under the strong presence of 19 faculties, St. Wilfred's Law College offers a concentrated learning environment to students. Also, it has 3 different types of law programs which are LLB, BA LLB, and BLS LLB Integrated to address the variegated desires of opting to law as a profession.
The college enhances the learning experience of its students with the various facilities available to the students. The college has a well-stocked library, the backbone of an excellent study base. It includes a good number of study materials on encyclopedias and easy access to DELNET. It subscribes to a number of national and international journals and newspapers, which help in inculcation of habit of good reading in its students. The moot court facility at the college forms the salient feature and backbone of practical legal education. This facility provides students an opportunity to perfect their abilities as an advocate through different competition practices. Adequately equipped computer laboratory and an e-library meet the technological needs of modern legal education on the campus. A large auditorium, fully air-conditioned, conducts cultural programs and competitions.
AAt St. Wilfred's College of Law, three full-time faculty courses are of three years each, which includes the 3-year LLB programme, the 5-year integrated BA LLB, and the 5-year integrated BLS LLB.
The admission process at St. Wilfred's College of Law involves the candidates having to come down in person to the college to fill in the admission form. The application must be duly filled and signed by the student and attach all requisite documents. MHCET Law is one of the most widely conducted examinations in the state, through which the college selects students. Students have to declare, at the time of application, whether they, as backward class (SC/ST/NT/DT/VJ), seek GO Scholarship or Freeship.
