St. Wilfred’s Law College, Ajmer, is a legal college situated in Ajmer, Rajasthan, was founded in 2014. It is located on Jaipur Road and near the Balaji Temple which is spread across just 1.98 acres of land. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has recognised St. Wilfred’s Law College as leading next generation college for law education in the region. The college currently enrols a total of 355 students and employs a faculty corps of seven which makes for a healthy student-faculty ratio and thus, proper attention to students.
St. Wilfred’s Law College has developed numerous learning facilities that would allow it cater for the needs of the learners effectively. The college has been equipped with the latest technologically advanced facilities. Acting as a knowledge centre, the facility provides a virtually inexhaustible number of legal texts, journals, and digital texts. Aspiring advocates can pin their hopes on Moot Court which is a court like set up where students are exposed to real like like situations. On one’s physical health, the college also provides the facility for various games like basket ball, cricket, volley ball, table tennis and badminton etc. Also, two-walled indoor games like billiards and chess are also popular to assure students’ balanced education and healthy entertainment. The campus houses two hostels for boys and girls respectively for out station students, so that they are able to maintain a comfortable stay. All these hostels offer comfortable, well-ventilated and provided rooms and hygienically prepared healthy meals in the refectory. Other facilities available are a gym hall, a hall for events and seminars and staff as well as a canteen for the student and members of staff. It also has a health centre for first aid in emergencies.
St. Wilfred's Law College offers one primary course, the Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) programme. This is a full-time course, which takes three years to complete and remains a centrepiece of the college’s catalog. The LL.B programme of St. Wilfred’s has been structured to equip the students with adequate knowledge of legal system and rules, adequate and effective thinking abilities and realistic experience in the field. Having an approved intake capacity of 240 for the , the college has been training a number of late legal professionals each year. Such approach helps the institution manage its resources properly, provide a high level of education in law, and retain the high status in the field.
