Nice big campus with all features and services like canteen. Big roomy classes and some classes have are air conditioners which cames summer nicer. Smart boards are installed which makes learning contemporary and effective.
Got to learn a lot which helped me in career development and I'm currently doing a job so it helped. Learned and sophisticated professors are there to teach as well as guide students personally for their career development and future endeavours.
Company didn't came for campus placement but college name is enough to get a job in job market. Hr professionals recognise the college name and that helps to get placed and teachers personally help students to find placements as well.
Fee structure is fair enough so definitely value for money.
Learned a lot and got to meet a lot of like minded students and enjoyed college life as well.
Infrastructure is awesome, in every month the college use to maintain their properties( colour, small works etc) and also their food courts, auditorium is large and they also have big grounds for basketball, football). Every Quarterly they use to organize blood donation camps.
I was studying BCom advertising and marketing course from this college and the course which they taught was really worth it, even they are useful for my future studies. They have experienced faculty in every field of studies.
In my experience placement was OK, i am not saying placement of this college is bad, but it was average. in my batch 78% of students were placed in their desired field of interest. Average salary offered was 4.8 LPA
The cost for the course is 50,000 PER YEAR. and it was value for money because the quality of education which they offered had helped me in marketing field.
Campus life was Too Good me and my friends enjoyed because college use to organise many activities( Christmas, Holi, Diwali etc) Even the staff were very supportive in nature. its location was also good and they handle every emergencies.
the last thing is that, it is best college if you are searching in Ranchi.
Best college and best infrastructure in Ranchi for graduation. Xavier's has large campus where we can spend our leisure time. Classrooms are very big. There was a library were all students go and study.
I studied bcom accounts Hons. All professor are A grade. They teach in such a way that anyone can understand everything by just listening to them. Ya my curriculum update every year. Every semester has unique subject to increase skill.
Placement of the college is good because from sem 4 many companies come for campus placement till sem 6 more than 50 companies came.So it depends upon the students skill and knowledge. Myself I was placed in TCS company.
The fees is affordable and course per year was Rs.30,000 and it is value for money.
I enjoyed my college life, students enjoy a lot, they celebrate Christmas and fest in very unique way. All students are safe in campus.no unknown people can enter the campus or college because security card check I'd before entering into college.
No, everything is good.i will prefer this college to everyone.
Campus infrastructure is very good . Huge campus with lots of parking space for the students. 3 building , mainly 1 for graduation , 1 for graduation and 1 for intermediate. College is having 3 libraries and 3 different computer labs.
Faculties are really great. Wide range of faculty across different departments. Strictly follow the guidelines of Ranchi University . Majority of the faculties are Ph.d holders with depth knowledge about the course and curriculum.
Placements are good . Every year majority of students gets placed during the final placement . Majority of companies are local recruiters and they offer a good package to the students. Placements are good for the graduate students.
I can definitely say its value-for-money . Campus life is really great and the faculties are really great. Main undergraduate courses offered are B.Com , BBA, B.Sc and B.Sc IT
Campus life is really great. Every year college organizes Fest for the students. Basically its a 3 day event and the last day is DJ Night . Huge playground for the students , compromising 3 buildings AND 1 Gym.
Our college have a great infrastructure and facilities .The hygiene of the college is best and have a eco- friendly environment to study . Basically I'm B.com graduate student and I must say our faculty have outstanding teachers and professors. They make sure the session is interesting and interactive. Our faculty also provide good placement, many known company comes to hire , we just need to make sure to look for those opportunities . The discipline of xavieran is admirable. They make sure student are in discipline.
Basically I'm a b.com graduate student. Our college have outstanding teachers and professors, they make sure that the session are interesting. They make sure that the session is not one way and make it more interactive. This college will fill you with lots of knowledge and self -confidence.
Our faculty provides good placement for the students. Many known companies comes to our college to hire students for the internship purpose, they also conduct counselling sessions and programs for the students.
My course cost as per year was 25000( approx) . But as I said its worth money because Xavier's college will fill you with lots of knowledge. You will definitely enjoy your college life , if you will become the part of Xavier's.
Once a xavieran is always a xavieran. I enjoyed my college life . There is lots of memories I experienced in my college. Every teachers and staff are so good. The discipline of our college is too strict . There is lots of opportunities that our college provide , you must look forward to it ..
All facilities are provided to the students from the very beginning. Libraries, indoor sports, wifi, smart boards, computer labs, examination resources, students are given access to all of it from the very beginning and are regularly maintained too. Hygiene is also maintained in the campus and cleanliness is also maintained. Infrastructure is great and it helps in keep standing the reputed name of the college.
I am studying commerce as I have interest in knowing about and learning varous financial matters. Teachers are very qualified and also know about their subjects very well. They make concepts easy to understand and everyone is encouraged in the classrooms to ask questions.Special doubt classes are also held for students in case the need arises. The curriculum has been updated and is according to NEP programme. It contains commerce subjects and also some other subjects related to arts and science stream as minor options to expand the scope and understanding of students. With the current number of options available in my stream, I am confident that this course is suitable for being job ready.
Placement is above average but still needs more effort. The college administrations frequently trying to increase it contacts with various companies for camous placement.Placement quality is ok currently but no. of placements are a bit low at present.
With all the infrastructure and support from the teachers, and quality of education, it is worth to study in this college. It is one of the most reputed collrge in this city to study from and I am positive that one will find it suitable to his/her needs
Our college has only basic few facilities and the infrastructures. The classrooms were old and didn't have any smart boards. But some classes did have projectors. There are total two libraries. Students can issue three books at a time for 15 days span. Hostel is there only for SC st students especially only for boys. Sports centre for various indoor games and outer games like badminton volleyball basketball football is there. The living species are clean and the food of the canteen is hygienic.
I have completed my masters of science in mathematics from this college as it is one of the good colleges to do masters in Jharkhand. The teachers were too good and well qualified. Teaching quality was good. I do think that the curriculum was updated and this really makes knowledgeable person.
From my department like MSc mathematics basically no one placement. Basically the placement drive is for computer science students and BBA MBA students. As per I have heard only 50 to 60% students get the placements. In the higher salary package is near about 4 lacs. I am not acquainted with the placement process.
My course masters of science in mathematics costed me approx twenty thousand rupees. I don't think that my money got totally worth. Because also that teaching quality was good , I didn't like the infrastructure, the rules, etc.
My college campus life was good. Broad pathways, cafeteria, canteen, gymnasium, and little charge is inside the college campus. Only one large college fest is held every year. Everyone's behaviour was good. It was safe and was able to handle all emergencies.
Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. We have laboratories, libraries and sports centres and hostels in our college. They are all used and well maintained. The living spaces clean and the food hygienic.
I was studying bcom. The quality of teaching is really good and faculties are really helpful. Yes our course curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. This course makes us job ready.
The quality of placements at our college is really good. I was placed in tcs as financial analyst from our college. The placement process is easy and pleasant for us. Yes our college is very supportive.
Yes our course is value for money.
Our campus life is really good.
College life is defined as awesome. One of the best from the outside. But once u come in u start to observe things properly and find out it is not as good as it looks. Many books are available in the Library. Everything is available to study in the classroom.
Faculties will help them out to find right jobs to build their career.Faculties here have more than 10yrs of experience in different hotels, institutions, around the globe, also lots of seminars, field visits, take place around the yera which gives exposure to students in turn helping them to boost confidence needed in the hospitality industry.
Placements on average are good here. From 5th sem students can sit for placements. There were around 50 companies that visited clocking the highest at around 12 lakhs/yr.I plan to get a placement also.
Campus is pretty small, however every facility is available. Classrooms have proper facilities but not all the classrooms are similar. Wifi is not available for students in the campus. Maintenance is not done quite often but it can be improved.
The syllabus for my course, BBA was pretty amazing given that I now compare it to MBA and it's visible how up to date the things were, specially in marketing. Feedbacks are taken for all subjects and processes.
UG placements are average, it's not a technical college, therefore it's focussed mainly on theoretical programs. But everything is done through superset which makes the processes easy. Also, there's no placecom and professors are the ones handling everything.
Yes. The fees is not very high and it can be said that we get the value for money. Facilities like mess, stationary shops etc. Are present in the campus and everything is streamlined making the experience smooth.
There's not much campus life in the college as you don't stay in the college. Also, the campus is small which means that you don't get much space away from faculty. Gym, mess, other facilities are available.

Hey there
As I have searched Saint Xaviers College of Ranchi doesn't offer Master of Social Work to the students. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are offered in the Saint Xaviers College of Ranchi are are bachelor of arts Bachelor of Commerce master of Arts master of Commerce and master of journalism and media communication.
Hi,
It's a little different for both the colleges.
If you are willing to take admission in St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, then you have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the college. The selection process is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. So, the board exam cut-off does not matter. However, candidates will be eligible to apply for admissions to this college only if he/she gets a minimum aggregate of 50% in 12th board exam from a recognized institute.
Candidates willing to take admission in Calcutta University should have completed 12th boards from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The candidate has to apply to the respective colleges under Calcutta University & wait for the counselling process to begin. The cut off for BA Geography Hons. in Calcutta University cannot be predicted this year due to the confusion in the board exam results of the various boards but if you have got around 85% & above then you have a probability of getting a seat. Having said that, you should apply for your choice of college & wait for the counselling process to begin, you may get a seat.
Hope this helps.
