Sufia Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre was started in 2007 at East Champaran, Bihar. This college is affiliated and imparts its co-education in Unani medicine. The courses provided are Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery. The campus is spread over 5 acres, with a total student enrolment of 229 and a faculty strength of 40. The institute is dedicated to imparting quality education in the traditional Unani system of medicine, comprehensively interfaced with modern concepts in healthcare.

The college has varieties of infrastructural facilities meant to enhance the learning environment and better lifestyles of students. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls on campus, fully furnished, well-ventilated, and air-cooled. It has a dedicated library that acts as a knowledge hub with a huge collection of medical literature and research materials related to the course. Well-maintained and well-equipped laboratories for practical training are also available where students can gather hands-on experience related to Unani medicine. The health of the student body is regarded as a serious matter by the institute, hence there is an on-campus health centre providing first-aid services.

Sufia Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre currently has the following full-time course. BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery). This is a four-year course that will help students gain in-depth knowledge about Unani medical practices and their application in a modernly set healthcare setting.

The admission procedure at Sufia Unani Medical College Hospital and Research Centre. This will be followed by an internal entrance test, and then a personal interview will be arranged for assessing the aptitude and passion of the candidate towards studying Unani medicine. Both are conducted by the Examination Department of the said college.
