Sun Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Bhind is one of the largest pharmaceutical institute situated in Madhya Pradesh and it was established in 2002. This affiliated college comes under the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and provides a number of pharmaceutical courses meant for the pharmacist and researcher. The institute has an area of 1.1478 acres of land and is staffed by 34 committed educators. SIPER offers a chance to learn at one school for both sexes thus creating a more diverse atmosphere in pharmaceutical learning. The institute provides six programmes at three degree levels to help students launch prosperous careers in an emerging industry.

The institute boasts in offering a one stop centre for learning with latest equipments and technologies. The centrepiece of all infrastructures put in place in SIPER is probably the library especially its book and journals collection which currently has over 500 books and more than 1000 journals that are both national and international. Accommodating up to 150 students, the well lit fully air-conditioned reading rooms are suitable for both individual study and or group projects. The laboratories of the institute are aimed at offering a practical exposure to several types of the pharmaceutical machinery as a purpose of excruciation at the theoretical knowledge and experience. 

For the well-being and all round development of students, SIPER has provision for playing fields, gymnasium, and an auditorium for games, sports, cultural activities and programmes. The campus also houses a canteen, where students can have healthy meals, as well as a health centre with the first aid kits. The institute is also having separate hostels for boys and girls for the students seeking hostel accommodation. The hostels are provided with necessity items for the safety of the students hostels norms are strictly followed.

SIPER’s current academic programmes major in pharmacy and can be classified according to the different levels of pharmaceutical education. The institute offers six full-time courses out of which four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) with 100 students and two year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) with 60 students. M.Pharma at SIPER includes Ph.D. courses in the fields of Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Regulatory Affairs. Such a variety of courses makes sure that students can choose courses that suit them most in the pharmaceutical line.

Sun Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SIPER), Bhind, is one of the best pharmaceutical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)-affiliated institute provides pharmacy courses to future pharmacists and researchers. SIPER's admission process is inclusive in nature and accepts any suitable candidate to enter the pharmacy profession.

The institute has a simple admission process for its different courses. SIPER provides pharmacy courses at undergraduate and graduate levels to serve the students at different stages of pharmaceutical education.

For admission to undergraduate programs, SIPER mostly looks at the performance of the candidates in their 10+2 or equivalent exam. The institute accepts students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as part of their higher secondary course. For postgraduate studies, the candidates are generally expected to hold a bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related fields.

Application Process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The Bachelor of Pharmacy course in SIPER is a four-year undergraduate course with admission of 100 students. The marks of the candidate at 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects are taken into account for admission to this course. The selection process most likely considers the marks obtained in these subjects and possibly an entrance examination result.

D.Pharma: SIPER provides a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy of 60 seats. The course is available for applicants with science subjects at the 10+2 level. Admission to D.Pharma is usually on marks merit basis 10+2, considering performance in science subjects.
