Surya Educational Institute, located in Mathura, was established in 2004 and it stands as a leading institute of Uttar Pradesh. This is a co-educational institute situated on the NH-2 Agra-Delhi Road, Farah, affiliated with Dr BR Ambedkar University, Agra, and approved by NCTE for the courses in B.El.Ed and D.El.Ed. Being situated in a small area of 2.74acres, the institute offers professional courses in the field of teacher education. Surya Educational Institute offered its educational services to 119 learners and it has 18 staff members which makes sure that students achieve a personal touch. The institute offers two full time programmes in education and aims to produce quality professionals of the future.

Surya Educational Institutehas a number of resources that aim at improving the learning process in the institute. Since academic resources encompass all the facilities required to improve the quality of education, the library holds more than 40,000 books on different specialisations along with subscriptions to national magazines, journals and newspapers. To support practical knowledge, the college has laboratories to accommodate courses such as biotechnology, microbiology, botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, and many more. 

To further support this equality of modern education it offers, the institute has a functional computer centre with 15 P3 & P4 computers power backed up with necessary condition to help students get acquainted with new technologies computer lab. Initiation and overall development of large motor physical development is enabled through a huge airy folk dance hall and large well planned sports campus, fully equipped with the required equipments commensurate with NCTE and state government standards. The building also has basic services within the same compound for instance a health centre for first aid, an assembly hall and a cafeteria for students and instructors. 

Surya Educational Institute offers two primary courses in the field of education: Bachelors of education (B.Ed) and Diploma for Elementary Teacher Education (D.El.Ed). They are both full time programmes and their completion takes students two years of their time. The sanctioned strength of the D.El.Ed programme is one hundred students which confirms the capability of the institute to produce a large number of elementary teachers. Both courses play a part in the total student admission capacity of 119 in the institute proving a specialised effort in producing teachers.

Surya Educational Institute follows the code of admission policies framed by the state government and UT administration and the university with which it is affiliated to. In case of B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes, therefore, there are competence based admissions whereby students are admitted based on their performance at their previous examination or performance at the admission test. The institute may also use other methods of selection according to the regulatory standards.
