72 MonthsDoctor of Pharmacy (Pharma.D) is a 6-year full-time integrated program course offered by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai.
Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the admitting year.
Candidates belonging to all categories except the SC/ST community should have obtained 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany & Zoology, or Mathematics taken together at the qualifying examination. (Academic stream). For SC/ST candidates the aggregate is 35%.
The candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than the Higher Secondary Course Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu shall submit the eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and such admissions are provisional till the University approves.
D.Pharm qualified candidates with 50% marks can be directly admitted in second year B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) and in Pharm.D First year. The candidate should produce a Diploma certificate, State Pharmacy Council certificate and the eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University and such admissions are provisional till the University approves.
The admissions are based on merit basis.
