Suryadatta Institute of Business Management and Technology was established in the year 2008 at Pune, Maharashtra. It is among the main educational institutes of this area. It is an AICTE-approved affiliated college, available for postgraduate programmes in management and computer applications. The campus is built on 1 acre, and a total enrolment of 472 students study here, out of which 62% are boys while 38% are girls. It has a strength of 26 faculty members and two specialised courses. The SIBMT Library is a knowledge hub that provides access to an enormous collection of books regarding text-based, reference books, e-journals, online databases, and other information in shaping the multifaceted academic objectives of students and staff. The institute provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities for games such as football, volleyball, tennis, and badminton for all-round development. It has a very well-equipped, state-of-the-art auditorium with an audience capacity of more than 400 for various academic and cultural programs. In addition, it has separate boy's and girl's hostels in the institution's vicinity for comfortable accommodation of the outstation students.

SIBMT offers two full-time postgraduate programmes: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The approved intake of the MBA programme is for 180 seats and the MCA programme for 120 seats, adding up to a total of 300 seats for these courses. Concurrently, these courses shall enable students to develop skills and gather knowledge to work in these fast-changing business and technology sectors.

The admission process at SIBMT is competitive and merit-based. Institute requires that candidates applying for the course of MBA should possess a valid test score in MH-CET or CMAT or CAT. Candidates would be eligible for a call for Group Discussion and Personal Interview as part of their selection process. Institute also accepts forms from students who are going to take these entrance examinations shortly.
