SVPM Institute of Management, Pune was established in 1994 and is a premier educational institution located in Malegaon Bk, Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. This affiliated college, AICTE-approved, is endowed with providing quality management education on its sprawling 5-acre campus. The total student enrolment amounts to 210, while the faculty strength is 7, rendering focused learning with a good student-faculty ratio. 

It has a very knowledge-enriched library with more than 7,543 volumes, 48 national and international journals, and 38 magasines. It also provides broad-band internet access for e-learning and research purposes. For the physical well-being of the students, the college has excellent sports facilities such as playgrounds for athletics, football, basketball, and volleyball. Institute is encouraging participation in adventure sports like paragliding and rock climbing to develop team spirit and leadership qualities. The SVPM Institute of Management thus undertakes quality education through the MBA program. The course structure is a two years full-time with an approved intake of 120 students. The admission process to the different programs in SVPM Institute of Management is centralised. Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, is responsible for the admissions to different programs offered by the institute. The students are admitted to the institute on the basis of their performance in various entrance examinations at national and state levels. The institute accepts scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, and MAH MBA CET. Such diversity in score acceptance has given multiple chances to the aspiring candidates seeking admission in the MBA program.
