SVRK Government Degree College for Men, Nidadavole, Andhra Pradesh, was established in 1971 at West Godavari. It is an autonomous affiliated college and spread across 9.68 acres having only boys with an understudy strength of 318 students. It consists of 6 undergraduate courses 3 degree programs having the student body comprising of males and females from within its state. 81 % are males and the other 19% students form the female student community coming from the state. With a faculty strength of 20, it ensures a student-to-faculty ratio of about 16:1 to ensure personalized attention towards the academic progress of each student. 

A number of facilities are operational in the interest of students' academic and personal development in the college. Well-stocked libraries acting as knowledge hubs with materials for research and study purposes. Modern laboratories designed for various science disciplines create an opportunity for students to conduct experiments and learn practically within the campus. The infrastructure provided includes facilities for sports, in addition to a gym for maintaining physical fitness and recreation, both inside and outside classes. IT infrastructure supports digital learning as well, while the auditorium hosts series of academic and cultural events. Comfortable classrooms come up to 15 in number and are divided into three blocks particularly for Science, Arts, and Commerce. This ensures a good learning environment. Several courses are offered at SVRK Government Degree College for Men under the undergraduate program line-up. Under three-degree categories, the college offers six various types of courses. These are three BA, B.Com, and B.Sc. These three BA, B.Com., and B.Sc. programs offer different interests in academics through humanities and social sciences at one end and commerce and natural sciences at the other end.
