It was established in 1980 and is managed by the committee of Vidya Vikas Vidyapeeth founders as a co-educational affiliated college affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam of MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. There are twelve courses given at the institute in six different degrees, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. This college has a total of 580 students and seventeen members of the faculty; exclusive of the programme, the college has 175 male students; the rest are 420 female students. What it does is cater for all faculties such as commerce, arts, science, and management and offers a whole educational experience of a campus that is spread across the lively city of Visakhapatnam.
