Swami Dayananda College of Arts and Science – Manjakkudi – Tamil Nadu established in the year 2001 is an affiliated college. This part of India has several higher learning institutions; this particular institution is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) it has several courses in under graduate and post graduate level The university has under graduate and post graduate schools that hosts a variety of courses. The library built on 3,200 sq. ft boasts of more than 11,000 books in stock, 36 national/international subscribed-journals and 50 course related-CDs. It is automated with Koha open source software with N-LIST and National Digital Library India (NDLI) databases. 

It infrastructure is good enough to facilitation the modern educational environment. In extra curricula there is a big hall with a sitting capacity of 1000 and is useful in holding events and seminars. Cricket and volleyball fields, basketball, and badminton, and kabaddi grounds and athletic track are the options for outdoor sports, while indoor amenities consist of table tennis and carrom.

This college –Swami Dayananda College of Arts and Science offers almost all the courses needed in a college. The institution offers 20 programmes that are, full time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The following fields of learning is encompassed in the current course offerings; Computer Science, Commerce Business Administration, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Information Technology. Moreover, it is accepting students into M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes in some chosen subjects and Diploma in Yoga programme.
