Swami Sahajanand Bharati College of Education is one of the well-reputed institutions dedicated to teacher education, which was set up in the year 1970. This co-educational college is sited at Shrirampur, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. It is an affiliated institution and has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The NCTE is an important organisation that gives approval to institutions for teacher education. The college is spread across a sprawling 40-acre campus. It provides a suitable environment for learning and growth. 

This institution has a total student strength of 70 with a faculty of 7 to ensure that the students are given individual attention and quality education by the aspiring teachers. Over 15,142 printed documents: The library comprises reference books, dictionaries, and encyclopedias. The library also subscribes to many journals and magazines for students' benefits. It has over 3,000 e-journals and 75,000 e-books through INFLIBNET - N-LIST in order to nurture digital learning culture. Sports facilities, IT infrastructure, laboratories, and first aid facilities at the health centre have been arranged within the institution. There are hostel facilities for both boys and girls, which also cater to the needs of students with special needs. The Swami Sahajanand Bharati College of Education is mainly an institute offering teacher education programmes, running B.Ed courses. 

A two-year full-time course with an intake of approved 50 students, this B.Ed programme is designed with state-of-the-art skills and knowledge to make trainees effective educators in the newly dynamic educational landscape. The college, although offering only one degree programme presently, presents the quality rather than quantity approach in order to ensure that its graduates are perfectly ready to play their roles in the future educational sector. 

 This will be on the lines of Maharashtra State Government and affiliated university policies. Admissions shall be accepted purely on marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The following selection process may also be followed by the college according to the guidelines issued by the state government or UT administration.
