Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies established in year 2001 is affiliated college and is situated at Awadhpuri Colony Sehore M.P. The institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and offers only teacher education programs. Occupying a 2 acre area, this college currently boasts of total students’ population of 1, 558 and 24 faculty members. The institute promotes nine courses in all spread out in three different degrees, all concentrated in the field of education and teaching. In its preparation of the next generation of educators the college offers a number of amenities to aid the student’s learning experience.

This college has several establishments aimed at improving their learning experiences of the college students. It acts as a library whereby students can be issued with many forms of education resources and learning materials. For the lovers of physical activities the college has provisions of sporting facility to balance with the study and fun-making. It also boasts of sound IT facilities for equal preparation of the students with modern technology resources. There exists an auditorium for event and seminar conduct also to enhance campus activities. Moreover, each department of the college has its laboratory to ensure that students of this institution get the practical experience needed to succeed in their careers.

In its current form Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies provides only three full time programs out of which all are regular programs in the field of education. The college has an approved student’s capacity of 250 students for all its programs offered. Though, unfortunately, there is no specific graduation data about the most recent year, however the total enrollment of the college is 1,558 students which undoubtedly indicates the constant generation of graduates every year.

The admission criteria at Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies are based strictly on the marks scored in the previous qualification examination and/or entrance test. For the B.Ed program, any state government, UT administration or university norm based on merit of the qualifying examination/entrance examination/any other mode of selection can be opted. Same procedure is followed in D.El.Ed programme and here too it follows state government or UT administration norms. 

The M.Ed program: Merits students based on their performance in other qualification or entrance examination or any method prescribed by the state government, university or UT administration.
