SVCST Bhopal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Swami Vivekanand College of Science and Technology or SVCST is an affiliated college was established in the year 2006 at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This multi campus institution is located a 7 acre area and has a vast combination of courses in engineering, management and education streams. SVCST is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for providing quality education in its multipronged areas of operation. At present, the college has a total capacity of 410 students and 87 members in the faculty, which means that a student has adequate opportunity for one-to-one interaction with teachers.

The SVCST wants to make sure that this part is complete with the knowledge that every student needs in order to learn in the field. The college provides most of the amenities needed to meet academic needs and co curricular activities. They include practical laboratory, library equipped with adequate books and journals, and information technology with 150 networked computers. For the physical health of the consumers there is the provision of sporting equipments and a gymnasium for the college consumers. There is also First Aid facility in the Campus through a health center to enhance safety of the students. Further, the SVCST has provided specific hostels for both male and female students intending to stay inside, or out-station students.

A total of 9 courses are taught at the college across four bachelors and postgraduate programs. SVCST offers all its courses as fulltime programs hence affording students the opportunity to learn fulltime with minimal distractions. 

According to the programs offered the admission process of Swami Vivekanand College of Science and Technology is different. For the B.Ed program, the criteria for admission is merit; marks scored in the qualifying/allied examination and/or the entrance test, in accordance to the government policy of the state and university concerned.
