Swami Vivekananda Polytechnic College – Forging ahead on its path of glory, this technical institution was started in 2010 at Perambalur, Tamil Nadu. Located on 5.3 acre of land this affiliated college has carved a niche for itself in imparting quality education in the stream of engineering. Established by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the college has developed and started relevant diploma courses to cater the needs of the industry. Currently, the college admits 211 students, and it has 35 teachers, which means its student-teacher ratio is impossible to beat; each learner receives individual coaching.

Swami Vivekananda Polytechnic College has access to some of the best amenities that play a part in helping students gain a full experience. Students get to enjoy fully outfitted laboratories that prepare them for practical skills in different fields of engineering. A hall on the College compound is used in conducting various events, seminars, and cultural activities enhancing the college experience.

It offers five full-time diploma programmes for which the span of the course is for three years. These courses are offered for various branches of engineering so as to give the students various career opportunities. It offers Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering. The college has a total of 285 approved intake capacity in all its programmes showing its capacity of taking through quality number of aspiring engineers each year. The actual number of graduating students is still unknown but given its emphasis on quality education and vocational preparation of its students the college wants to produce competent workers.

Admission to Swami Vivekananda Polytechnic College is as easy and seamless as can be imagined for students.
