Swami Vivekananda School of Diploma, Durgapur was established in 2012 and located at Malandighi, West Bengal. This is a Co-ed institute, approved by AICTE, New Delhi. This campus has a huge area of 35 acres. This Institute offers three diploma programs in engineering fields with an enrolment of 390 students. The faculty strength is 54, and an ideal environment for budding engineers to flourish in. 

Various amenities on campus enrich the campus life of students. A well-stocked central library with more than 50,000 textbooks and reference materials is available with facilities such as e-journals and 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity. Swami Vivekananda School of Diploma offers three full-time diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. All the programs are of three-year duration and orient the students toward acquiring sound fundamentals in their respective branches.

Admission to Swami Vivekananda School of Diploma is mainly made on the basis of rank obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, West Bengal. For direct admission to the second year of the diploma courses, a valid rank in VOCLET is essential. It thus admits only those students who have a high aptitude for technical education.
