In the year 1999, Swarna Prabha Mahila P.G. College was established at Anand Nagar, Maharajganj, as an affiliated college. Spreading over 4.27 acres of land, it is an institution solely dedicated to providing quality teacher training. It offers two full-time courses, adding up to a total student intake of 940, namely, B.Ed and M.Ed. With the faculty strength of 48, the college maintains a decent enough student-to-teacher ratio; due care is accorded to ensuring that proper personalised attention is provided to each student. Approved by the NCTE, Swarna Prabha Mahila PG College works with the objective of shaping the future of aspiring educators. 

These facilities mostly relate to the enhancement of students' learning at Swarna Prabha Mahila P.G. College. At the core lies a well-stocked library with the latest standard books, newspapers, and magazines on various fields. Students are allowed membership in the library immediately after admission, hence have an access to a host of learning materials. The college has also valued physical education as an important part of the development of every learner and hence provides sports facilities to all students. Social responsibility and discipline are inculcated among the students through two NSS divisions comprising 100 members each. Further, certificates will be issued to the students who participate in a minimum of 120 hours of NSS activities and a 10-day camp, which will help these students while seeking academic advancement. Swarna Prabha Mahila PG College has two courses in the field of Education. The intake capacity for the B.Ed. course is 100 students, while that for the M.Ed. is 25 students annually. Both courses are full-time two-year programmes. The admission process to Swarna Prabha Mahila PG College is merit-based, taking into account marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
