Swarna Prabha Mahila PG College Maharajganj was established in 1999 at Anand Nagar, Maharajganj of Uttar Pradesh. The college was located on a land measuring 4.27 and is an institution to train quality education. It is affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, ensuring that it maintains high standards of education. With 940 enrollment under its umbrella and a faculty strength of 48, it promulgates concentration in learning. The two specialised courses offered at Swarna Prabha Mahila PG College in the discipline of education to prepare prospective teachers and educators.

Even though the admissions to the B.Ed course are made according to the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations and the M.Ed course also conducts a merit-based admission process subsequent to the marks obtained in said qualifying examinations and entrance test, or any other process of selection according to the governing policies.
