Swatantrata Sangram Senani Mahendra PG College, Mau, was established in 2004 and is an affiliated college situated in Haldharpur, Mau, Uttar pradesh. This institution, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), provides a combination of educational courses to meet students’ learning needs. At present, the college has a total enrolment of 394 students, in addition to maintaining a faculty of 17 teachers thus making sure a small collegial environment. The institute offers two programmes: Diploma in Education in Elementary (D.El.Ed) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) combination is a true testimony towards its vision of providing education for teacher education as well as arts.

The D.El.Ed program is a two year diploma course for the future teacher with an approved intake capacity of 50 students. The BA programme is an undergraduate course, specifically a three-year course which gives students a liberal arts education. All of these programmes assess the college on teacher education and humanities. The college has a total student intake for the academic year 394, which indicates a stable students’ turnover within the college’s programs.
