Swathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (SITS), was founded in the year 2009 located at Hayathnagar, Telangana. A part of Osmania University Hyderabad SITS provide a large spectrum of engineering and technological courses. The institute is located on an eleven acres campus and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SITS admits 650 students at once, and it has the strength of 71 faculties that make the students more comfortable to achieve good results. It has authorised 9 courses in 3 degree types offered in B.Tech., M.Tech., and Diploma programs are available in different fields of engineering.

In terms of facilities, SITS has this state of the art to support all the academic activities.It has have state of art facilities in order to support all SITS academic activity. The physical facilities include well equipped laboratories, modern computer laboratories and adequate and comfortable classrooms. The institute has its own library which has large number of books, journals and digital resources associated with the courses available in the institute. To accommodate students’ needs SITS has a separate hostel for boys and girls which make them feel comfortable and safe at the same time. To this end, there is wireless Internet connection within the campus and all students can easily make use of the internet facilities. A contemporary Carolina canteen supplies good food and offers accommodations for those with special diets. The institute has sports facilities for different indoor and outdoor games to maintain the balanced growth of the overall personality of the student.

The offered courses at SITS are diverse and cover all levels of education, and the total number of courses is 9. There are 4 diploma courses, 4 undergraduates and 1 post graduate as the institute strives to adapt to the needs of the market. The B.Tech programs that SITS mostly comprises are, four year full time programs The unique selling point of SITS. These include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Computer Science and Engineering as well as Electronics and Communications Engineering. The diploma courses which take three years of study offer similar fields and prepares students for entry employment or further studies. The post graduate course available at SITS is Master of Technology in computer Science and engineering for those who want to have advanced knowledge in this technological boom area. Admission policy of Swathi Institute of Technology and Sciences also follow the norms of the state government and is unbiased and very much transparent. For the undergraduate programs, the main criterion for admissions is the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test abbreviated as Ts EAMCET. This university entrance examination is designed to test skills in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, to make sure only students with excellent performance in those courses gets in. In respect of postgraduate admission, the Institute accepts the score of the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET). These entrance exams are usually conducted in May and June with counseling and admission coming in the following few weeks. SITS as well evaluates the general academic performance of candidates in their 10+2 or equivalent where the university provides an all round appraisal of all candidates.
