Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON) established in the year 2007, located in Pune, Maharashtra is of of the premier institution. The co-educational institute, located in Pune's Senapati Bapat Road, is meant for nurturing skilled healthcare professionals. SCON is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approved by the Indian Nursing Council, thereby meaning quality in its educational endeavors. The undergraduate courses offered by SCON are the 4-year B.Sc Nursing program with a capacity of 50 seats and the 2-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing course with 60 inlets. For those willing to do advanced specialization, the college also offers various 2-year M.Sc Nursing programs. These include M.Sc in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and M.Sc in Medical Surgical Nursing, both with 10 seats each, as well as M.Sc in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and M.Sc in Community Health Nursing, offering 5 seats each. The students' total intake in all the courses put together is 272, which does reflect the optimal student-teacher ratios the college is keen on keeping to ensure the maximum learning happens.
