Tamenglong College, Manipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Tamenglong College, Manipur was started in 1979 offering Co-educational facility in Tamenglong Ward No – III, Dimthanlong, Manipur. This affiliated college located in a 40 acre land has been accredited from National Assessment and Accreditation Council popularly known as NAAC. The college student turnout of total 308 while the faculty members are 27 in strength do provide an individual attention. There are two principal undergraduate courses offered at the institute, both are three-year full time programmes – the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc).

Apart from the foregoing physical structures, Tamenglong College has various amenities that improve the student learning process. In the case of sports, there are sporting accompanying facilities such as the playing field that the college sportsmen and women will benefit from, and the college has an auditorium which is used for occasions such as events, seminars and other similar functions. This institution is owned by staff and students; therefore, there is a cafeteria that addresses the food needs of both parties. In this regard, the college boasts of good IT practice to support the modern college education. In academics, students have facility of a good library besides the departmental laboratories for course related practical and experiences.

Currently, Tamenglong College has a wide course portfolio with only two courses offered in its undergraduate level: full-time. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programmes satisfy general interest education wise . Al though the number of seats available for each programme is not given, the total student intake of the college is 308, though there is a balance between the number of students and faculty, where they can engage in an interactive manner.
