TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation was established in the year 1997 at Yamunanagar, Haryana. It is a premier institute affiliated with this university to impart physiotherapy education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The campus is spread over 3.87 acres with an enrolment capacity of 100 students and strength of 13 faculty members as of date. The institute offers 3 full-time courses in 2 degree programmes and focuses on specialised areas in physiotherapy such as orthopaedics and neurology.

There are all kinds of facilities to support the learning and development of students in this institution. TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation  also includes an excellent built air-conditioned library where there is a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, and Vedic literature. In addition to these, the institution provides subscriptions to international and national journals, encyclopedias, and magazines on current topics. The institute has well-equipped laboratories for practical training and diagnosis of patients. Separate and independent hostels for boys and girls exist in the institution for accommodating the students in a hygienic environment with 24-hour electricity supply, spacious rooms, and sports and recreational facilities. In addition to this, a health centre is provided on the campus with first aid facilities, gym, sports facilities, and a canteen. A very good IT infrastructure and an auditorium for events and seminars is provided to aid the academic activities of the institute.

TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation conducts a total number of 3 courses, which are full-time. The institute provides one graduate course in BPT and two postgraduate courses in MPT: Neurology and MPT in Orthopaedics. The sanctioned intake of the institution for all its courses is 58. The intake for the BPT course is 40, and that for MPT is 9 in each of its two specialisations.                        

The admissions to TDTR DAV Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are strictly merit-based. All the undergraduate and postgraduate courses have merit admissions under a merit list that is prepared from a competitive examination held by the State Agency, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. This makes the system fairly uniform for all applicants.
