Teacher Training College, Gaya, was started in the year 2006. It has grown as a premier institution set up for the future teachers to come. This affiliated college at Gaya in Bihar is duly approved by NCTE, New Delhi, ensuring a quality teacher education curriculum. The institute spans a compact 1-acre campus and provides an ideal learning environment for the aspiring teacher aspirants. With a total enrolment of 89 students and a faculty strength of 41, the student-teacher ratio is excellent, whereby personalized attention and mentorship are afforded to each learner. It has three specialised courses in education that cater to different levels of teacher training and development.

The institution is fully equipped with modern facilities that would benefit learning for its students. At the heart of all these amenities is a state-of-the-art library with numerous volumes: 8,956 books, 73 journals and periodicals, and 35 encyclopedias. This spacious library has a reading capacity of 175 students to work in an ambiance conducive to research and study. Other amenities include well-furnished laboratories like Science Lab, Language Lab, ICT Lab, Psychology Lab, Mathematics Lab, and an Art & Craft Lab. These institutions provide practical learning sessions, very essential for a teacher-to-be. For the physical development of the students, the college has sports facilities, a yoga center, a meditation center, and even a swimming pool. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available in the campus itself, with all the facilities including 24-hour water and electricity supply.

Teacher Training College, Gaya offers three full-time courses, each of two years duration. It offers courses in elementary education at the diploma level, bachelor's degree level, and master's degree level. For all courses together, the total intake capacity of the college is 250; out of these, there are 100 seats each for D.El.Ed and B.Ed and 50 seats for M.Ed.
