The campus is located in Nizamuddin East, New Delhi and provides a favourable environment for the aspiring teachers to practice with students with special needs.

Teachers Training Institute has made available many installations aimed at improving understanding among students. The library worth 1200 books andNational /international journals is useful for the professional trainees. Computer aided teaching learning facilities with internet connection enable students to follow education modern trends of teaching learning practices from all over the globe. In addition, it possesses branches subject laboratories also, medical facilities through the health centre, and canteen service for members of staff and students. Other facilities include; Sports facilities, Classrooms including all facilities that can facilitate balanced learning.

Teachers Training Institute currently provides 2 full time programmes, two of which are bachelors degree programmes and the other a diploma in special need education. The B.Ed Special Education programmes includes B.Ed Mental Retardation and B.Ed Learning Disabilities . The institute has total approval for 54 students in all its programme was 29 seats for diploma course and 25 for B.Ed Special Education in Mental Retardation. At the time of their design, all courses are set to be accomplished within two years.

Teacher Training Institute also offers admission with a criterion based on the mark secured in the qualifying or entrance examination.
