36 MonthsM.D. in Paediatrics is a Clinical Speciality Programme offered by the Medical College & Research Centre, Teerthanker Mahaveer University. Doctor of Medicine in Paediatrics is a three-year postgraduation course. Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents, and the age limit usually ranges from birth up to 18. The course prepares a paediatrician who recognizes the health needs of neonates, infants, children and adolescents and carries out professional obligations in keeping with principles of Health Policy and professional ethics. The candidates with a MBBS degree from a recognized institute, who have registered permanently with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Councils, are eligible for this course.
