PGDM Sustainability Management at Terna Global Business School, Nerul Offline Course

The Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainability Management is designed to empower individuals, communities, and organizations to tackle critical global challenges. It focuses on the interdisciplinary perspective of the sustainability concepts and their inter-connectedness with different areas like development, geography, environmental policies, ethics, ecology, landscape architecture, city, and regional planning, economics, natural resources, sociology, etc.

It tries to highlight the importance of science and politics of climate change, poverty and development, corporate social responsibility, ethics, and the environment, and much more in the process of coming to understand the new and profoundly important field of research and work in Sustainability.

Program Structure:
All courses are a combination of classroom sessions and mandatory 2/3 of the program period as a field engagement/ placement/ internship component.

The classroom sessions will facilitate learning through participation in the forms of lectures, discussions, case studies, presentations, assignments, etc., to help students understand the conceptual and theoretical clarity of the subject area. The field engagement will provide a possibility to see the linkages between the classroom inputs by highlighting the practical dimensions of the course. The insights that emerge from theories and hands-on practical experiences are aimed at making students conceptually strong and successful in the practice of the course and getting absorbed in employment setups.

The program will be delivered in a modular structure that aims to address specific objectives. Each module would have a three-fold construct, with the following weights of credit hours:

• Academic Groundwork – 50%
• Industry perspective through casework, internships, and guest speakers – 25%
• Field action work – 25%
