Thakur Shobha Singh Government College, Pathalgaon, came into existence in the year 1984 at Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, as an affiliated college. The college is co-educational and covers a campus area of 18 acres with 13 courses across 8 degrees. The enrolment capacity of the institution for all programs together is 922. There are 11 faculty members in position. It was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The institution offers a plethora of programmes in arts, science, and commerce at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
