Thakurdeen Pathak Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ambedkar Nagar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Thakurdeen Pathak Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2010 as an affiliated constituent college of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This institution for girls extends on 2.47-acre land and offers two degree courses, namely, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Arts. The institution, well recognized by NCTE, is equipped with an enrolment capacity of a total of 256 students and has as many as 24 dedicated teachers. 

Facilities let the students have an enlightening experience during their learning process. The library is well stocked, acting therefore as the hub of knowledge while having all the necessary resources in the academic aspect. Various facilities let practical learning and experiences cater to the needs of the college in terms of departmental laboratories. An auditorium acts as the mainstay of activities and seminars that make a proper way to a campus life of dynamism. Health of the students is taken as one of the prime concerns, and there is a well-equipped first-aid health center on the campus. The institution maintains an excellent IT infrastructure to pace with modern educational demands. Besides this, sports facilities are available where students' physical fitness and recreational activities are encouraged.

Following are the two full-time courses offered by the Thakurdeen Pathak Mahila Mahavidyalaya: B.Ed. The B.Ed course, designed to equip the students for teaching professions, had a sanctioned intake capacity of 100.

The admission to Thakurdeen Pathak Mahila Mahavidyalaya, like in most other colleges, takes different pathways based on the programs available. The B.Ed program takes students on a merit basis on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination and/or entrance examination. The college also follows the admission policies that are formulated by the government of the state, the UT administration, or in that case, the parent university.
