Affiliated college Thandra Paparaya Polytechnic was founded in 1998, and it is situated in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. In engineering fields, this AICTE recognised institution offers four diploma courses. Lying on 4.49 acres of land, the polytechnic has 386 students enrolment in total and 61 faculty members in its roll.

The polytechnic offers a number of infrastructures that would enhance student learning as well as their overall development. It is important because the library is a learning resource centre for all students to enable them improve their learning. Computerised laboratory facility is provided separately for every department along with training and practical exposure. The data infrastructure facilitates connection and enables the students to access information processing systems. In the line of physical health, there are places of sports activity on the territory of the institution. In total, Thandra Paparaya Polytechnic provides four diploma courses, which are all offered as full time programmes. The institute offers following courses and has an approved intake capacity of 450 seats in all the courses put together. The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course is the most popular with 210 students taking this course, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering have 90 students each.
