M.Phil Computer Science at Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigalar Arts Science and Tamil College, Coimbatore Offline Course

Candidates who want to apply for the M.Phil. program must hold a Master's degree or a professional degree that is equivalent to a Master's degree as declared by the corresponding statutory regulatory body. They should have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever a grading system is followed). Alternatively, candidates with an equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution that is accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency approved, recognized, or authorized by an authority established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions are also eligible.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories, a relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed as per the decision of the Commission from time to time. This relaxation is also applicable for those who have obtained their Master's degree before 19th September 1991. It's important to note that the eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% only apply based on the qualifying marks without including grace mark procedures.
