The Institute of Academic Excellence, Paschim Medinipur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Institute of Academic Excellence, Paschim Medinipur, came into existence in the year 2012 and is a co-educational affiliated college in West Bengal, India. It stands on a 2.99-acre campus to provide quality education in the teaching field. The institution is approved by the National Council of Teacher Education, which gives assurance regarding national standards in the professional teaching education curriculum. It has an enrolment of students and 32 faculty members.

The infrastructure comprises facilities that make student's life easier and more comfortable. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls have been provided on campus, well-furnished, ventilation-friendly, and well-maintained, so as to create an excellent living environment for students. A well-stocked library with a wide variety of textbooks, reference books, journals, and magazines, and has an adjoining and spacious reading room. Academic Excellence offers sports facilities for recreation and physical fitness. The institute also maintains a modern IT infrastructure, ensuring that students have access to the latest technology for their studies. In addition, the institution offers departmental requirement-based laboratory facilities to enhance practical learning experiences.

The Institute of Academic Excellence has two full-time courses regarding education. Both the B.Ed and D.El.Ed are undergraduate professional development courses aimed at building a teaching career, spread over two years. 

The institute adheres to state government policies regarding admission and university guidelines. Admissions in both programmes are usually taken as per the academic calendar.
