Modern College at Imphal was established in 1963 and has a well-recognised position in Manipur, India. This NAAC-accredited affiliated college offers a wide spectrum of arts and science degree programmes at the undergrad level. Located in a rather large area of 15 acres overall, the college enrols 2439 students; out of these, 1295 are male students, whereas 1046 are females. This institution boasts a highly respected panel of 68 members of the faculty offering 24 courses under 2 degree programmes. The courses are 16 BA programmes, and 8 B.Sc. programmes.

The college academic programmes cover a comprehensive relevant subject area covering physics, chemistry, mathematics, botany, zoology, English, political science, history, and economics, among others.
