The college has spacious classrooms with working ventilation systems and boards along with lights. The canteen is well stacked with different food. The library has a lot of books for different subjects and there are many copies of the same books too so that many people can borrow the same books at once.
I am currently studying 8th semester of mechatronics engineering. We have had some very good teachers till now in various semesters. The faculty are generally well qualified and are helpful to understand the concepts.
Students from seventh semester and above are eligible for placements in the college. Various IT firms hire students from the college along with a few core companies. The placements cell keeps us updated with all the various companies and their packages and job descriptions. Salary offered starts from a minimum of 2lpa and goes upwards of 8lpa in some cases. There was also rigorous training provided over a month for the various aptitude exams
The course costed 75,500 per year through CET admission. Scholarships were also available for eligible students.
Various events occur throughout the year that engage the students in technical and cultural activities. Sports activities also take place and the college team participates in various inter college competitions
Life at Oxford has been very free flowing. I have enjoyed the time I've spent at Oxford which couldn't be possible without my friends too.
The college has a good infrastructure, the campus is good ,they keep the atmosphere clean. Classrooms are good and spacious . Regular cleaning of the classroom takes place and it is well maintained. Labs are quite good, the apparatus works well and each individual gets chance to perform their experiments. Library facilities is provided by the college, all informative books are available there .The campus, toilets are good and cleaned everyday.
I am studying Mechatronics. I opted mechatronics because it's an interesting subject and has scope in the future. The department is very good . Faculties have good knowledge about the subject. They help to understand the concepts easily and provide essential study materials. The teachers encourages the students to make projects on their interests and guides the students.
Very good companies come for campus interview and more than 91% of the students are getting placed with good salary package. They train the students well to face the interview , we have mock interviews etc conducted.
My fees cost 83806 per year . Yes I feel it is worth the price, the college provides good facilities for us to study, notes and coaching is good
Campus is good, the atmosphere inside is good, it's kept clean and there are a few trees and plants around , it feels good to be around the campus. Students and staffs are very polite and friendly . There's no ragging in the college. There are pg's , hospitals, stationary shops etc nearby .
The infrastructure in the Electrical and electronics department is maintained well and good , all the labs have good and updated equipment . There is a Library which is pretty huge and all curriculum related books are available . There is a canteen in the campus which is above average I would say.
I passed out of the college from a bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics which I would say has the most experienced and detailed faculty compared to other departments . Since this is a core branch the syllabus is vast and difficult but with the right faculty everything seems doable.
Being from the core department of electricals the placements are average according to me but if being from a core dept and well versed in any of computer langauges , coding etc there are better chances of getting placed as most tech companies look for software engineers and associates. There is placement training which is given in the 7th semester and average salary is around 3.5Lpa. The highest in the college is always from the computer science department which is around 11Lpa
When I joined the course in 2017 the annual fees was 75k. Which is decent expensive for a middle class family . But there are Colleges which cost way more compared to this so I think it's good values for money.
The campus is placed on the way to the it corridor of Bengaluru the transport facility is excellent it is connected to bus and metro (upcoming) which is like a big plus considering I have to spend less time travelling . The only big downside is the traffic at silkboard junction which will hopefully reduce in the next few years since there are 2 metro and a flyover stations being constructed. The campus is good basic nothing fancy , a simple canteen and ample parking space.
My personal experience of spending more than 2.5 years in the college Is good we also had a lot of tech fests , college fest and annual sports day inter college sports meet . Those were the days.❤️
The infrastructure is really good. The hostel, the classroom, etc good . The EEE department of the college has very good laboratory facility. The canteen are maintained good. The Library of the college has good collection of books for the academic purpose.
I am studying EEE department , the quality of teachings is out standing. The best teachers of India are in Oxford college of engineering. Due to covid pandemic online classes are presently going in online but the legacy of the college is extremely good . The teachers have excellent knowledge regarding the subject. The EEE teachers provides notes, ppt etc . The EEE teachers are best teachers , they motivate and support us both academic and make us industry ready .
From 3rd year onwards , student are eligible for placement. The college has good team for the placement, which provides ample opportunity for different companies. Many companies provides placement . The top companies are like HP, HCL, Amazon, etc provides good placement opportunities. Ranges from 4 to 10 lac package on average . The registration and other details are provided by college placement team.
The campus life is good , the location of college is good and safe the faculty of the college are really supportive.
Overall the college is excellent and very good . I got admission to college through Karnataka common entrance test (KCET) . The college life , academic , placement are really good and the best one in Bangalore. Especially the EEE, has best academic , best teachers and good laboratory and other facility support
It’s a normal student friendly ambiance nothing to great just normal one. With every basic facilities. The hostel food is good which is what I’ve heard from the hostellers so I’ve never tried it out since I’m a day scholar.
I’m studyin for BE Mechatronics (MT) second year student. I find my interest related to this course that is why I went up for this new course which is not found in many colleges when during my admission year.
Placements can have a 3.5/4 outta 5. Nearly half students get placed and well settled or have gone for higher studies. So since I’m still doing my UG I don’t know what to write more about it right now.
Since I’m a Management Quota student and a day scholar it was ₹160000 only excepting exam fees and other fees which looks affordable enough to ME. So far yes I do feel it’s worth enough since I’m doing a degree on my interest of course.
We’ll I didn’t really have a proper college life so far because of COVID so never had a proper campus life. The teachers and support staffs are student friendly and qualified as well. They are some really good qualified teachers.
Overall it’s good any student whose looking for a pocket friendly and student friendly college to do your degree can check for this college and to know more I wud suggest to plz ask the students over here to know in detail about your course and college.
Hostel facilities is good. The library and reference section at well maintained to provide books and environment to learn and grow. The mess in provides good quality of food for hostler. The infrastructure of our college is quite good.
They conduct three internals and 2 lab internals .Our college provides us both the theoretical, practical and application knowledge for our future and studies. All lecture are Highly educated and experienced.
Our college has good job placements. Many students get placed in the placements.About 60% of the student got place in the college. There are several placement training activities to boost self confidence and moral for student.
The campus is good.
Classrooms are neat and well maintained. The library is big enough to fit more than 250 students at a time, and has 2 floors with adequate lighting and ventilation. There are both indoor and outdoor games available. The labs have all the required equipment and are well maintained.
Currently I am studying ISE 3rd year, The faculties are friendly and approachable anytime. The teaching quality is good and is understandable. The courses curriculum is updated every year to the benefit of the students. We are happy with course they are offering and it will help us to get placed in a good Mnc's in the future
There are 100% placements for Information Science and Computer Science departments. As VTU(Visvesvaraya Technological University) has made it compulsory to complete at-least 1 internship before 7th semester & our college is affiliated to the VTU all the students do complete at-least one internship before passing put.
The courses are totally worth for the infrastructure and teaching that they are providing including labs
The campus life is good. There will be many fests and many workshops for the sake of the students . One can learn and also enjoy as well.
Overall I found the college very good and well maintained and enjoyable.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, faculties and equipment .class rooms are provided with black boards . laboratories with proper devices and instruments, hostels with with very infrastructure.all the place in the college is very clean and hygine and foods provided is also hygenic.
Iam studying in cse.all the teachers and faculties are so good and friendly towards all teachers.moreover the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments inthe field.yes, what I study makes me job ready.
The quality of placements at our college is reall very good. Nearly 90%ans above Students were placed.the salary package offered more than a lakh.the average salary is around sixty five thousand.college was really very much supportive for this.
The course cost was sixty thousand per year.yes I really feel iam getting my money's worth.because of Avery good repetition of college and sincerity.
The college campus is so amazing and really good with great infrastructure.one of the best college .there is nothing worst features to describe about the college.students can engage in all kinds of extra curricular activities.
My experience in this college was great and amazing and I gained lot of knowledge and confidence and skills .
The college has a really good library. It provides a really good atmosphere to study. The students are allowed to go to the library any time during working hours. The college has a canteen where we get some amazing food, which is debatable.
All the professors are very well qualified and know their respective fields well. Good subjects are taught from the second year and I'm enjoying them. The teaching style of some teachers is very understanding.
I'll be having placements in 2023. But from what I've seen, the median package is 4Lakh and the college has a really good placement cell. The skills matter more than CGPA for placements and students have even received 10-11lakh packages.
I'm paying somewhere around 1.4Lpa fees,. The fees are less for students joining through CET. Scholarship is also provided for students with SNQ or such other quotas.
I've had only 1 semester offline in college due to pandemic. The campus life is average, as the campus is not very vast but it has a really good canteen(where we get pav bhaji and more! :P)
I chose this course because I'm interested in it and excites me. The campus in the middle of the city, thus access to resources is much more than colleges on the outskirts have.
The Oxford college of engineering has very good environment. The classrooms are well ventilated and spacious so are the labs. The Library has good number of books for better understanding of the subjects. Our college has good and hygienic canteen. The quality of food is good. The bus facilities is also available.
I'm perceiving BE computer science engineering.the quality of teaching is very good. This college maintain very good experienced teachers and friendly nature of all teachers and department. Staff provide the good message for the students to the career development
Our college has good placements opportunities. The average package for our stream ranges between 4lacs to 10lacs per annum. The percentage of placement is satisfactory .Companies with good ratings are invited and the department gives advance placement training activities
Courses cost is per year 1.5 lacs and it's management seat and the coaching is very good and worth for the money
The college campus was very good and clean it maintains very friendly environment clean air and lighting teachers and students maintain friendly Relationship. Our college conducts extra curricular activities like fests ignus, national conference etc.the location is very good and bus facilities also available
Placements are good ,many students get job offers from campus interviews, the labs, library are really good. Culture activities are so awesome we enjoy a lot in college.
Hi,
Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering is the best among the two. Though oxford offers 28 courses and Raja Rajeshwari 17, Raja Rajeshwari still beats it due to their overall performance. The fees of both the colleges is almost the same. Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering also provides better facilities and the teachers here are much better than that in Oxford. It is also better in terms of infrastructure and placements. Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering has the highest package offered 16.5 LPA and the average salary package being 4.9 LPA. On the other hand, Oxford offers an average package of 3.5 LPA and the highest being 8 LPA. Thus, you can see Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering is a better choice.
I hope this helps,
All the best
Hello, I hope you are doing well
The campus is quite good surrounded with lots of green trees and space to walk around. It does not have a good auditorium. It does not have a proper ground to play in.
Most of the people here are from Karnataka and speak kannada more than English, so if you are not familiar with kannada, communication might become an issue.
Also the Faculty is decent in CSE compared to other branches like Mechanical, not the best but good enough to guide you through.
Now regarding the placements Oxford isn't the best college in Bangalore nor it is the worst some students from CSE get a package of around 14 LPA, but this is not the average package which is around 5 LPA, you can consider this to be one of the highest.
Hope This helps.
Yes, oxford college of engineering has a uniform. The normal uniform constitutes of formal white full sleeve shirt and grey trouser with grey/white/red striped tie and charcoal grey blazer. This has to be worn everyday. Uniforms have been made compulsory to bridge the socioeconomic gap between the students and represent a unified front. Events where uniforms are not compulsory still have strict guidelines that include full pants or jeans with decent shirts or T shirts for boys and Churidar, Pants, Kurtas, Tops for girls.
