Tika Ram College of Education, Sonipat, was established in the year 1975 at West Ram Nagar, Sonipat, Haryana, is an affiliated institution approved by NCTE. The college offers a focused learning environment to aspiring educators with a campus size of 2 acres. The institute has a student enrolment of 199 with a faculty strength of 10, thus maintaining a very congenial student-teacher ratio, which facilitates individual attention and hence quality education.

The college prides itself on providing a number of facilities to make life in the campus more comfortable. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with an intake capacity of 12 and 20 students respectively. A well-equipped library acts as the information resource centre for the students and staff members. To the sporty and fitness-minded, the college has sufficient sports facilities. The educational environment is also provided with modern IT infrastructure to stay updated on innovations adopted by other institutions in education. Tika Ram College of Education has two full-time courses in the area of education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Two years B.Ed with approved intake of 200 students. The college also offers a two-year postgraduate Master of Education (M.Ed) with an intake of 50 students. The college focuses on the aforementioned two core programs, hence the specialized attention being given toward teacher education and training, which enables the students to emerge as successful professionals in the teaching profession.

The admission procedure in the Tika Ram College of Education is merit-based. Admissions to B.Ed. shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as per rules framed by State Govt., U.T. Administration and University. The admission procedure to M.Ed. is based on merit, assessing marks of the qualifying examination and the entrance examination, in accordance with the policies prescribed by the State Government, Central Government, University, or U.T. Administration.
