Tirumala College of Pharmacy, Dichpally, is one of the affiliated college that was started in the year 2008 located in Nizamabad district of Telangana state of India. This is a co-educational institution acknowledged by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and provide many programmes in the field of pharmacy. The college occupies a 4.38 acres land and it is serving 357 students and is empowered by 31 faculty members. Tirumala College of Pharmacy offers the three courses available in two degree levels, mainly pharma education & research. This is in light of the fact that the institute boasts of a focused curriculum as well as well-equipped with modern facilities.
Tirumala College of Pharmacy also has host of amenities that complements the learning and development process of its student population. A properly stocked library plays a central role in student’s acquisition of the different pharmaceutical literature and other resources. Also to accommodate the out- station students, the college has dedicated hostel facilities for both boys and girls. In all, Tirumala College of Pharmacy offers three courses and all these courses are full time. The institute offers only one B.Pharm course along with two masters level courses namely M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis. The candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics during their higher secondary studies.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: This postgraduate course deals with advanced formulation of medicines and drug delivery systems. Admission is generally on the basis of performance in the candidate's B.Pharma degree and pharmacy entrance test scores. The college can carry out additional screening methods like interviews for final selection.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis: This technical M.Pharma program is involved in the analysis part of the pharmaceutical products. Admission is same as for M.Pharma Pharmaceutics based on the candidate's performance at B.Pharma as well as on entrance tests. Shortlisted students can be called for interview, if needed, as a final selection method.
