Tirupati College of Polytechnic and Pharmacy was established in the year 2006. This affiliated college is situated in Fatehabad district, Haryana. On a 10-acre campus, the Institute is offering diplomas in Engineering and Pharmacy. This college has been approved by AICTE and PCI with a total student intake of 153 and a faculty strength of 27. Tirupati College offers a wide range of specializations in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Pharmacy with a total student enrolment of 153, along with a faculty strength of 14, thereby meeting the educational needs of aspiring technicians and pharmacists belonging to the region.

Tirupati College of Polytechnic and Pharmacy, Ratia, is affiliated to Fatehabad district in Haryana. Entrance as prescribed is conducted in Tirupati College to admit tangible candidates for its various diploma programs.

The process of admission at this college is by dual pipeline admission. For 75% of the sanctioned seats, admissions are regulated by the Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS), Panchkula. Eligible candidates have to fill the application form prescribed for the HSCS through their services with different Government Polytechnics in Haryana. The other 25% of the seats are filled at the institutional level, thereby abiding by the eligibility criteria laid down by HSCS on behalf of the Government of Haryana.

For preparing the merit list on the 75% HSCS seats, a formula is used that gives merit depending on the percentage of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exams (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English). In case the marks are tied, priority would be given to those scoring higher in Chemistry and thereafter in Physics, with the possible difference. If they still tie, then the older one will be preferred.

Application Process

The application process in Tirupati College of Polytechnic and Pharmacy varies with the admission channel:

For 75% HSCS Seats:

1. Acquire the application form issued by the Haryana State Counseling Society, Panchkula.
2. Submit the duly filled form to HSCS, using the offices of several Government Polytechnics in Haryana.
3. Attach the OMR form and duly attested copies of the mark sheets of the qualifying examination.
4. The merit list is prepared based on the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English.
5. For equal marks, then preference is based on Chemistry marks, then those in Physics, and lastly by age.

For 25% Institutional Seats:

1. Born on the same eligibility conditions prescribed by HSCS.
2. Or going to prepare the merit list at the institutional level as per State Government directions.

Degree wise Admission Process

D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy): The D.Pharma course at Tirupati College has an approved number of seats of intake of 60. Entry into the course has been through merit list prepared by HSCS for the number of seats available for 75%, and remaining 25% are filled at the institutional level. Eligibility criteria required by HSCS and PCI should be satisfied by the candidates.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This is that program which offers 60 seats, and the admission process is exactly the same as in D.Pharma. In fact, 75% of the HSCS seats are filled based on merit determined by marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English in qualifying examination. All the remaining percentage, 25%, is through institutional admission.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: The number of seats in the Mechanical Engineering diploma course is also identical at 60. The admission process in this regard is the same as that of Civil Engineering, whereby 75% will be filled through HSCS counseling while the remaining 25% will be through institutional admission. The eligibility and merit criteria are quite similar to all engineering diplomas.
