TN Rao College, Rajkot, was established in 1998 and is a Gujarat-based affiliated college in India. The college has accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and approval from the National Council for Teacher Education. Spread over 3 acres, TN Rao College has a total student enrolment of 1,623 with a faculty strength of 37. 

The library acts as the intellectual core of the institution with a quiet ambience for self-study and houses a huge collection of books, periodicals, and magazines. The IT infrastructure is excellent; there are two well-equipped computer laboratories comprising 180 computers, all connected to high-speed internet. These laboratories are loaded with the latest software and frameworks that support group projects and research work. TN Rao College also has well-equipped, modern laboratories, including a physics laboratory with separate sections for electronics and optics.

It offers 9 courses in various disciplines, like Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Education, Master of Education, M.Sc. in Information Technology and Computer Application, M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, M.Sc in Microbiology, and Bachelor of Commerce for Girls. 

The admission process at TN Rao College varies depending on the course. For the B.Ed programme, admissions are based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, sports proficiency test, and physical fitness test, as per state government policies. The M.Ed programme follows a similar merit-based system, taking into account marks from the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. For other courses, the college follows the admission policies set by the State Government and Saurashtra University.
