Translam College of Education, Meerut: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Translam College of Education is a co-educational institution set up in Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 1987 with an affiliated status. This compactly situated college spreads over 1.029 acres of land. It offers a focused learning environment. The total strength of students is 183, and the faculty at this college is 17 in number. The student-to-teacher ratio, therefore, is favourable.

Translam College of Education has one of the best facilities designed to improve the student experience. The library is managed by a full time qualified librarian. It houses over 7,295 books and provides internet-enabled computers and photocopying services. Two air-cooled separate boys and girls hostels are there for the students. Also, modern amenities, such as TV rooms and 24-hour power backup, are available. There is a campus auditorium for events and seminars along with a canteen for refreshment purposes. A medical centre with a regular doctor for first aid and periodic health check-ups is also present. For the tech-savvy students, two well-equipped computer labs are also available free of charge and with 24-hour internet access.

There are four full-time courses available in Translam College of Education under different disciplines. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and B.Sc Biotech are a two-year course. On the other hand, BBA and BCA are for three years. There are 60 students enroled in BBA and BCA. The intake has been sanctioned, and the class strength is kept at an ideal level so that the students can learn in a proper manner.

Admission is different for each course at Translam College of Education. Admissions for the B.Ed course would be strictly on merit basis. Merit of a student would be decided keeping in view teh marks secured by teh student during the qualifying examination and results obtained in the entrance examination. The actual selection process would be according to the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the affiliated university.
