Tribal College of Nursing, Ranchi was established in 2011, is a dedicated institute of nursing education situated at Sidrol, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand. This is a multi-gendered co-educational college which is located over an area of 2.46 acres of land and is an self financed affiliated college which is approved by INC. This college is capable of offering focused learning to its students since it has a total of 407 students and with a faculty strength of 43. The institution provides two full-time nursing programmes: The degree of B.Sc nursing and Post Basic B.Sc nursing that offered to meet the demand for entry into practice and post-basic course.

Tribal College of Nursing has many amenities available for use to support learning, improve the student experience and personal growth. A serviceable library is also central to a knowledge-base setting, obligatory for nursing training. The institution appreciates the role played by technology in today’s healthcare and avails it to the students by providing the technical support. For practical training, the college has departmental laboratory which replica actual health care facilities. The B.Sc Nursing programme offered for four years has an intake capacity of 40 students whereas the PB B.Sc Nursing, a two years programme has an intake capacity of 20 students. These programmes were developed to offer a strong foundational theoretical content as well as all the skills that a nursing professional will require in their career. The total student intake capacity of the college is 407, which proves a fact that the college looks for excellent proportion of student faculty for better teaching learning process.

The admission process of Tribal College of Nursing Ranchi is to enroll talented and qualified candidates to its nursing stream.
