Udala College was established in 1965 and is an affiliated situated in the Udala , Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Located on a vast approximately 15.44 acres, the institution offers numerous undergraduate courses in various fields of Arts, Commerce, and Sciences. Udala College offers the best environment and facilities to the students with total intake 1125 and faculties are 36 in number. Standard of education offered by the college is regulated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for quality assurance. This college list 15 courses available under four degree programmes which focuses on humanities, social and natural sciences etc.

Udala College has numerous amenities for student use that promotes their growth academically and personally. Udala College has a total of 15 courses for the undergraduate level which are all day time programmes. The course offerings span across three main streams: Arts, Commerce, and Science. In the Arts stream, the honours programmes are also available in English medium with Odia, History, Economics, Politics, Philosophy, Education, Sanskrit and Sociology. Commerce students can do B.Com programme. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology are taught at honours level to the Science stream students. The total number of students admitted in all the programmes is 1125.

When it comes to admission, Udala College carries the goal of providing admissions to students with an open and merit base. It has not been mentioned, which exact criteria the affiliated colleges use for admission but in general, the colleges take into account students’ results of 10+2 examination or equivalent.
