Admission into Udalguri College basically follows these steps in its application process.

Degree wise Admission Process

Programs in B.A.: Udalguri College offers BA Honours programs in various subjects. Admissions to BA programs are merit based considering the marks in 10+2 examination at the time of admission. An allocation of seats is as follows: 100 for BA Bodo Honours, 80 each for Political Science and Education Honours, and 60 each for Philosophy, Economics and English Honours Programs.

B.Sc Programs: The B.Sc. Honours programs that are merit based for admission into these courses. The College provides a capacity of 50 students of B.Sc. Zoology Honours and an additional 50 students in B.Sc. Botany Honours. The division of capacity is 30 each for B.Sc. Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics Honours Programs which are also available at the institution. Candidates of these courses must be science students in their 10+2 curriculum.

BCA Program: The college has established fifty seats for the BCA program. The admission procedure for the BCA facility is also merit-based and evaluates candidates on their overall performance in the qualifying examination, specifically in the Mathematics/Computer Science subjects.

General Courses: Likewise, Udalguri College offers general B.A. programs and B.Sc. programs. The admissions process for these programs will be the same as that for the Honours programs, based on merit, i.e., on the merit list developed from the results of 10+2.
