University College, Ghudda, was established in 2011 in Bathinda, Punjab and is a constituent college of Punjab University. As a mixed Institute comprising of 1, 518 students on its 14-acre campus, the institute provides the student with different programmes to enrol in. The college offers 7 courses of 6 degree programmes in arts, commerce, and computer application. The academic members of staff at the University College, Ghudda, consist of 12 well qualified and determined faculty.

The college has many facilities that has been established in order to give the students the best experience. University College, Ghudda, is provided with necessary standard sports grounds which have been the boost for the students who have showed proud performance in state and national level sports events such as cricket, volleyball, rifle shooting etc. The knowledge centre of the college library consisting of approximately thirty three hundred books, two hundred books and magazines, and newspapers, journals. In the technological aspect, two computer laboratories are available for practical use by the students who have a wide access in the IT fields. The college also has two laboratories in chemistry and one in physics in order to facilitate practical exercises in the sciences. A modern gymnasium enables students to keep fit whilst a large canteen provides sanitary and nutritious meals.

University College, Ghudda, has 7 courses in total and all of them are full time. There are undergraduate courses like B.A, B.Com, B.Sc Non-Medical and B.C.A, post graduate course such as PGDCA, M.A in Punjabi and Political Science. The admission capacity of the college is 1518 students across all the programmes provided which depicts large capacity of the college to admit students. 

University College, Ghudda, offers admission to all courses on merit basis with the seats filled through the performance in the qualifying examination. With this strategy, deserving candidates from different parts of the country get a chance of undertaking college education at the particular institution.
