About University College of Engineering Ariyalur The University College of Engineering Ariyalur (UCEA) was founded in 2008 by Abdul Kalam Azad Educational Trust and located in the culturally vibrant state, Tamil Nadu, India. This constituent college having 25 Acres of land of campus focused for delivering quality technical education to students who want to be engineers. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE the UCEA has an array of 13 engineering courses to offer to its 620 students. Our college is staffed with a dedicated teaching staff of 25 members hence giving us a small teaching ratio. UCEA being a co- educational institute it encourages diversity within engineering Programs.

The college boasts of offering broad facility in line with the needs of the students to improve on their learning. The library was started in the academic year 2009 – 2010 and currently it has a stock of 14,415 books and journals related to different branches of Science and Engineering. They also currently receive most of the technical magazines and journals where latest technical advances are published to ensure the students have a rich idea of their specializations. There is proper use of technologies where the campus area possesses information technology and uses high-tech Wi-Fi technology through which the students can easily connect themselves to the online books. Fully accredited hostels are available for students who wish to live within the university compound which include; a boy’s hostel with a capacity of 200 students and a girl’s hostel with a capacity of 250 students.

UCEA currently has seven under graduate engineering courses, all of which are full time programmes. The college currently admits a total of 620 students in various programs offered at the institution. The BE programs include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & communication Engineering, & Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Furthermore, in Tamil medium, UCEA has been launching only BE programs in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
