University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus. University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus was established in 2014 as one of the newest affiliates of the well-known university, the University of Mumbai. This co-educational institute is situated in Thane, Maharashtra, covering a campus area of 6 acres. The sub-campus has approval by the Bar Council of India, BCI. With 6 members on the faculty strength, the campus provides a focused learning environment.

The Thane Sub Campus provides a variety of facilities to complement student life. The campus library was planned as an instant knowledge center meant to assist students with needed resources for such academic endeavors. Keeping in step with the modern world, the institute invested in an excellent IT infrastructure to make modern technology accessible to students for study purposes. For the physically fit, there exist sports facilities and a well-equipped gymnasium. For the law students, there is a Moot Court facility differing from the rest; it helps one gain practical exposure to the real courtroom procedures. For learning purposes, smart classes are also available here. Any student requiring accommodation is provided with boys' and girls' hostel facilities.

The University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus currently offers two full-time courses. The BBA LLB (Hons) program is a five-year integrated course with an approved intake of 120 seats. This program deals with the integration of business administration along with law, providing intensive and adequate education to graduates as a professional legal aspirant.

The process of admission at the University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus differs from course to course. This programme has admissions done through CAP Round Merit List. Such a system would ensure that fair and transparent selection will always be conducted on strictly merit-based considerations. The admissions to the BMS MBA, however are dependent on the All India Merit Rank of the Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test, commonly known as MUCMET.
