University School of Business Studies, affiliated to the Punjabi University Guru Kashi Campus is situated at Talwandi Sabo, Punjab. This institute was set up in 1988 to develop postgraduate talents for the business world for more than 30 years. The campus is located in Raman Road and provides various programmes in business and commerce to the young generation. The school offers an intimate education as we admit 71 students in total while having 14 faculties. The institute has developed four courses that it runs for both under graduate and post graduate classes MBA and M.Com and BBA and B.Com. It also has a co-educational learning environment that will encourage and support all sexually active students.

Among these; we have state-of-art facilities in University School of Business Studies aimed at improving the achievement of the students. The centre of all academic resources is the central library that has more than 52000 books and Kodak has a well furnished reading hall. Major journals and periodicals are available, which will benefit the students’ research as well as their learning processes. The whole campus is wired with wireless facilities which avails internet throughout the day and night to its users, the students and staff. To support its action learning approach, the Department of Business Studies has its own computer laboratory with state of the art hardware and software linked through LAN. Regarding the student welfare, there are also provision of health facilities within the institute premises, an ambulance inclusive.

Concerning the offerings of academic programmes, the University School of Business Studies offers a full range of courses. The institute offers four full-time programmes: Management with 95 seats, commerce with 30 Management, Business Administration with 30 seats, and Business Commerce also with 30 Management seats. These diverse programmes enable students to select areas of interest that would help them fit in business organisations. Total approved intake available for all the courses remains at 185 students and this show the institute capacity to produce many business professionals every academic year.

For all programmes, the University School of Business Studies gives priority to merit through the score received in the qualifying examination for admissions. This approach makes it possible for deserving persons to be given chance to peruse their respective choices of study.
