Hey friend!
Although UVCE or Dayanand Sagar are more or less same. But you should that college in which you are getting cse branch. UVCE is affiliated to Bangalore University. Also UVCE is slightly better than Dayanand Sagar in terms of placement, faculty. But your priority should Cse branch.

All the best friend!
Hey, surely you can get seat in UVCE, Bangalore for computer science and engineering. Your rank is enough to get admission in UVCE. Before that ,you have to attend the common entrance test/aptitude test conducted by the government of Karnataka. Totally 70 seats are available in CSE . There are numerous opportunities in that department, good for placement also. All the best.
Hello,
Both the colleges are good. Both have a good rating.
UVCE:
Government College
Placements are good
Facilities need Improvement
DSATM:
Private College
Placements, faculties, classrooms, campus infrastructure are so good
I think DSATM is better than UVCE in every parameters like placements, facilities, faculties, college ratings
But all depends on your interest. It's your choice to choose College in which you want to get in

Hello Aspirant ,
Yes, Other state students can join UVCE College . To join UVCE college you need to write KCET (karnataka common entrance test ) or DCET ( Diploma common entrance test ) are conducted by KEA(Karnataka Examination Authority). There are no payment seats .

Hey!
As per previous years records, For BE in CSE, if your under the General Merit Category, then you need to secure less than 2500 rank and for ISE your rank must not be lesses than 4000. But trend changes every year, so there are still some chances.
Also, you can use the tool link given below to predict your eligibility in different colleges

Thank you
You haven't mentioned your Category. But according to 2019 Mock Counselling cut off list of 2019, a rank of 12516 secured a seat in UVCE under SC Category. That was the highest cut off rank. For other Categories it has been as follows:
General Merit: 1577
OBC: 6152
ST: 6474
Now this is 2019 mock counselling data. And cut offs change every year. If you belong to SC Category, you might have a chance. Or else, a seat in UVCE for CSE might be tad difficult. Vce being one of the oldest engineering colleges in India as in historic campus with basic infrastructure the facilities include classrooms and laboratories with smart class and aur department as all necessity equipments for practical work the library is well started with academic resources, and seminar hall
One of the best college in Bengaluru, And it has best infrastructure along with that it built in 1917 by a Sir M Visvesvaraya college of Engineering. In last year complete college is altered and established in better manner as described in present technology .
College building is quite good, lab equipments are too old, beautiful rock garden. But College campus to too small compare to other collegs. events happen every year, but imagine how grand feasts in government College.
