Ushodaya College of Education, Yemmiganur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Ushodaya College of Education, established in the year 2002, is one of the most premier teacher education colleges. Situated at Andhra Pradesh, Yemmiganur, Ushodaya College of Education is the affiliated institute of a university, and it's a co-educational college, which imparts basic skills and knowledge in novice teachers. Spread over an area of more than 5.1 acres, NCTE approved teaching institution promises quality education. It is a constituent college of Ushodaya College of Education that takes 125 students enrolled and possesses a faculty strength of 16 members. This college is supposed to give the intensely focused learning environment to the student body.

The planning and provision made by the college towards facilities for ensuring an enhanced learning experience have been facilitated by itself. Library was of the good standard with basic stock available in all major disciplines for reference purposes. The departmental laboratories form an added platform for hands-on experience for the student body. Provisions are made for refreshments at the cafeteria, a health center for general medical facilities, and up-to-date IT infrastructure to keep the students updated with technology. Ushodaya college offers two undergraduate degree courses on a full-time basis under the education wing. Among them, one course on Bachelor of Education has an intake capacity of 100 students while the remaining 50 intakes are for Diploma in Education. As both are up to two years courses, therefore, it provides effective training to the aspiring teachers.

Merit-based admissions in the Ushodaya College of Education will consider marks obtained in the qualitative examination and/or entrance test. Admission to the B.Ed programme happens under the state government/UT Administration in collaboration with the affiliated university. Even the D.Ed programme operates under the same guidelines from state government or UT Administration.
